Hello, Allanah. I wanted to ask you a favour, if that's alright. There's a demon I've been helping. Or...attempting to help. She thinks she's a God. She's from Africa, so we do have some trouble communicating, though she's getting pretty good at speaking English. She calls herself Ganub and I'm having the hardest time knowing how she came to be like she is. She also calls herself 'the heart eater' but she already tried to eat mine and she knows she can't. I don't think she'll try that on you...

She thinks I am her slave, see? And I told her I helped people like her and that they were my friends. She said she wants to speak to another God. And while I'd normally ask Deirdre, she's going to be going away again soon. And Svetlana or Rosa might say something...odd. Josie's gone and Razvan's a git. You might be able to interpret her surface thoughts as well. See things I can't see. I understand if you're not interested, but it would really help me out if you'd speak to her with me.

I can do that. We can't have demons running around thinking they're gods. That's just asking for trouble. And while this one isn't exactly running around, it's best we put that foolish notion from her head as quickly as possible. I should be able to get past the translation problems. I managed to get around Germany without knowing the language at all, so communicating with one demon shouldn't be beyond me. This will certainly be interesting... Do you have any idea how old she is? It'd be helpful to know how powerful I can expect her to be.

I have no idea of much of anything. I don't think she's older than she looks yet, but I wouldn't quite me on that. I'm unable to tell if she was made into a demon, or if she was a demon to begin with and the villagers she lived with saw her filled with rage and they told her she was a God. Either way, she believes it now.

If you'd like to come over some time soon, I can fill you in on everything and give you a crash course in the mythology she's operating under.

Well, you've enough experience with demons that I believe your judgement to be as reliable as anything. It's okay, I think we'll know quickly enough how the balance of power lies. As for whether she was born or made, unless she was made with a demon spirit who has melded seamlessly, or close enough with her consciousness, I should be able to tell you that straight away just by reading her mind/s.

A course in the mythology is good. If I've been working with any philosophy, it's that you can never have too many courses. Does tomorrow suit you?
