I think today I ate more than I ate in the entire previous week combined. Aly said I was eating like a pregnant woman and then she stole my burrito which is just uncool, but she is carrying my child. She can have all the burritos she wants. And anything else.

Robert came to visit and we played darts and I won 14 times. And the thought did occur to me that I should fashion some sort of...dart...weapon thing. And then I remembered that's mad. But I'd hit the target every time! Then we played with the kids who only seemed interested in getting rides on Robert's shoulders because he's so tall. I was afraid they'd hit their heads, but fortunatly, my fears were unfounded.

I rather hope they remain that way.

i don't think the dart weapon thing's so mad. i reckon it'd be pretty damn cool...

too bad about the burrito, but there's probably more where that one came from...

sometimes, i worry that caleb really would like nothing more than to swing from my hair.

It would be like my superpower.

If I order them! If I cooked them, we'd all die.

I'm sure he'd warn you first...

dartman! whose only weakness is burritoes he cooked himself...

I think that's everyone's weakness!

it gives you a link to the ordinary folk.

Date: 2007-03-26 12:36 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] father-peter.livejournal.com
The not dart throwing folk?

Date: 2007-03-26 12:41 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] father-peter.livejournal.com
Silly people!

It took me a while to get used to throwing them sober. Which is rather depressing...

Date: 2007-03-26 12:45 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] twilightrobe.livejournal.com
... kinda odd, but i guess it makes sense. i'm glad you did get used to it, mate.

Date: 2007-03-26 12:46 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] father-peter.livejournal.com
Oh me too!

If ever Aly eats you out of house and home, there's always a meal here *smiles*

I hope so too, Peter. I really do *hugs*

I think at the moment, it's in danger of being the other way around which is why she took the burrito in the first place! But thank you.

You could...I don't know, do one of your readings?

Date: 2007-03-26 12:33 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] seminalsemiotic.livejournal.com
Of course, Peter. Would you like to be present? It would probably help, but I can do it myself any time if you have other things you need to attend to.

Date: 2007-03-26 12:36 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] father-peter.livejournal.com
I would like to be present. Especially since I'd hardly want to put you into the position of having bad news and having to pass it along. If...that's what happens anyway.

Date: 2007-03-26 12:41 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] seminalsemiotic.livejournal.com
That's true, and very thoughtful of you. Thank you. In that case, when would you like to do this? I'm free tomorrow afternoon if that's at all good for you.

Date: 2007-03-26 12:45 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] father-peter.livejournal.com
That works for me, thank you, Renee. I appreciate this. I just want to understand what I've been dreaming and you said that sometimes the cards can help with that. Dream imaging or whatever it is called. And I trust you.

Date: 2007-03-26 12:53 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] seminalsemiotic.livejournal.com
Yes, they can. Whether the guidance is mystical or not, I can't pretend to know, but I have faith in the pathways they open within the mind. Often the cards present a different view than the one we've been taking, and it sounds like that just might be the very thing you need.

Your trust means a great deal to me, Peter. To do something like this is exactly what I need. Thank you.

Date: 2007-03-26 12:57 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] father-peter.livejournal.com
I think so too.

You're welcome, Renee.

Robert's a lovely man. I'm very glad to have met him. I can imagine he's absolutely fantastic with the children.

Date: 2007-03-26 12:30 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] father-peter.livejournal.com
He said the same thing about you. And they adore him.

Date: 2007-03-26 12:34 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] in-spectre-mors.livejournal.com
Well, I consider that a high compliment indeed!

Date: 2007-03-26 12:48 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] father-peter.livejournal.com
He also threw a pillow at me, but it was all in fun.

Are you still reading the journals I wrote, by the way?

Date: 2007-03-26 12:55 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] in-spectre-mors.livejournal.com
Yes, I am. They're quite endlessly fascinating, if also disturbing at times. I'm very much relishing the opportunity to understand you, though. To have such an insight into a man is a rare thing. I can't thank you enough for lending them to me. Did you have need of them, Peter?

Date: 2007-03-26 12:58 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] father-peter.livejournal.com
Robert wants to read the latest one, but only when you're done, there's no rush.

And you're very welcome.

Date: 2007-03-26 01:01 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] in-spectre-mors.livejournal.com
Well, as long as there's no rush about it. He just wants to catch up?

Date: 2007-03-26 01:05 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] father-peter.livejournal.com
Yes, he hasn't read the stuff about Rosa yet I don't think. I could tell him all of it, but I think what I wrote at the time is much more meaningful.

Date: 2007-03-26 01:07 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] in-spectre-mors.livejournal.com
I agree, there's a certain intimacy to the written word that can't be captured in verbal conversation. It's easy to miss things. I'll certainly let you know when I've worked my way through them.

Date: 2007-03-26 01:12 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] father-peter.livejournal.com
Thank you!

You are so cute!!

Can I come make you goodies tomorrow? I need...away time.

Date: 2007-03-26 02:45 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] father-peter.livejournal.com
Thank you!

I'm coming round to see Renee tomorrow, but you can come home with me afterwards if you like.

That sounds perfect to me.
