We're home and it's the middle of the night! And I am mobileless, but that's a rather long involved story. I'll get a new one after I sleep for a week and a half. With a Rosa bunkmate. And no mobile phones in any of my pockets. I'm rather glad it was in my shirt pocket and not my pants pocket.

Excuse me while I shudder...

Rosa got to go in the cockpit of the chartered flight. I think all the buttons scared her though. But it was a nice thought. I'll be staying at my older house with her for a few days. We'll figure out what she wants to do after that. I have a feeling she won't want to be far from Josie, but Josie's feelings have to be taken into account as well.

Anyway, I promised I'd share this. To quote Sir Dylan, I am not without a sense of macabre whimsy, so here's my amazing stick figure masterpiece. I drew this in the dark, mind. And my hand was shaking from too much coffee. And I forgot to give Rosa hair apparently... Normally I can draw at least...oh...fancier stick figures.




Maybe I should have used more red pen...

And now bed because I can hardly type.

I miss you too, Aly. Very much. And I want to see you. But careful is a good thing to be. She wouldn't do anything to you on purpose. She wouldn't mean to cause harm at all. I don't think she's like that. There's just some things she doesn't understand.

Well, I certainly think it's better for Rosa to meet me before she meets Anna, or another angel without experience with demons. How do you feel she'll be with Aly, considering she's pregnant?

Now I'm panicking.

And forcing myself to calm down. I think she'll be okay, I've spoken to her about it. She's been right beside me this entire time and I've been telling her what I'm writing about. I've explained things...she says she wants to meet you and Aly. I suppose I'm just going to be nervous no matter what because you're my family and I'm insanely overprotective.

I don't blame you at all, Peter. I did a similar thing with a boy Lavannah met today. He seems utterly non-threatening, but I may have given him the Spanish Inquisition in order to reach that conclusion.

If Rosa says that she wants to meet us, I believe her. And I believe that her motives are pure. We still have every reason to be careful and take precautions, but if Rosa is to be a part of our lives, this is something that will have to happen sooner or later.

I think so too. And like I said to Aly, if anything did happen, it wouldn't be because she intended harm. It would be a misunderstanding. Like my mobile. Don't bring yours with you. Especially not in your pants pockets!! You could lose things you'd be very sad about losing!
