Well, I'm not really sure... did you have anything specific in mind? Brazil is a big place... Highly religious in some parts, particularly in regards to Madonna worship. High crime rates outside of the big cities, much worse than anywhere in North America, for example. Often violent and dangerous, but just as often deeply family-oriented and welcoming.
Perhaps it would help if you told us more about your dream?
It was a bit...vauge. But there was Brazil and I'm fairly sure there's a demon there. Which is lovely, except that I'd like to know where. Like you said it's a big country and if I go looking for a demon in the Amazon Rainforest it could be like looking for a needle...in the Amazon Rainforest.
There were mountains. Does that help? The family-oriented thing strikes a chord. And religion. There was a family and they were all praying. I suppose I'll get more information if I dream of this again. You know, I wish all the information came at once, this is frustrating!
You're quite right about the search being difficult. I'm not at all surprised that there is a demon in Brazil. I'd be willing to bet there are probably more there than there are here.
Everything you've mentioned seems to indicate a poorer area, which at least rules out the big cities. I think they're a little more cosmopolitan and worldly there. If you do go, it doesn't sound like it's going to be an easy trip, immortality notwithstanding. There would be a lot of people hurting there.
You're welcome, Peter. I'd like nothing more than to be able to offer to come with you, but until things have been resolved with Lavannah, I can't leave. Besides, I'm sure you'd just as soon have someone hear to watch over the extended family, which I'm more than happy to do.
Oh I'm not planning to go anywhere yet. I want to know what I'm doing before I go off half-cocked. I don't want another Aberdeen. I know you're there when I need you though. So thank you very much for that.
I don't know. I suppose it depends on what the dreams are trying to tell me, really. If they're just saying, 'you need a vacation and isn't Brazil pretty!?' probably not. If someone needs me...probably.
Oooh, swimming. I agree, that part sounds nice. If you find parts of Brazil you like - though I understand that whatever transpires, you may never want to go there again - maybe you could show the rest of us one day?
Will you come to Spain with us, Tasha? After the baby is born. It's sort of our 'official' honeymoon which means of course, that we bring the whole family along. It will be a chance for all the Spanish relatives to meet baby Thomas and spend time with Caleb, Anna and Lydia. And you, of course, if you'll come.
Peter, I'd love to. That sounds absolutely divine. My answer remains yes either way, but I'd still like to ask if that includes Liz, Emma and Hope? I would imagine it does, but I wouldn't want to assume anything, given that it is your honeymoon and ultimately your decision.
Of course it does, if they want to come. It includes the entire family. Even if Emma and Liz can't make it, I can't see why Hope couldn't come along anyway. It would be good for her, I think. Good for everyone.
I think it would be wonderful for her to see Spain. And we're always good for each other, if I do say so myself. I think Hope just brightens everything.
Oh, I see. So you're making Aly choose from the pretty, big-breasted women! Very smooth. Then you'll seduce her new plaything away with your manly wiles, and ride off into the sunset...
I have an active imagination.
Oh don't worry, I introduced Pierre to lesbian porn.
Your wiles seem to be working for you so far *winks*
Believe me, Peter, I plan on keeping said imagination for the duration.
*snerk* Oh, you are quite priceless yourself! Technically, it was actually Deirdre who made the first move, but I won't deny that it was I who... showed her the ropes *grins*
