We took the kids along to see The Golden Compass today, which was a grand Boxing Day trek to the movies. We took up an entire row... I don't think I've seen so much popcorn consumed ever in my life. And afterwards, Caleb informed us that he doesn't want to be a ninja when he grows up anymore. Oh no, his new career of choice is that of the Ice Bear. And when Lydia informed him that he couldn't be an Ice Bear, his retort was a very firm, "you can be anything you want to be if you put your mind to it, Lyd-i-UH!" So...this should be interesting. He's roaring about the place, making armour out of cardboard and an old colander...

Still, could come in handy to have an Ice Bear around the place!!

Also, next time I have the bright idea to take everyone to a movie, can someone please remind me that I fear the talking animals? I'm going to have nightmares for weeks...
