Just checking in to let everyone know that I had an appointment today and my right leg is pretty well healed. Apparently kneecaps and ankles heal faster than...upper leg bones I don't know the name of because I am not a doctor. The left leg will still need to be in plaster for a few more weeks, but this means I can get around on crutches for a little while at a time. Of course it also means I have to start physical therapy, which I believe is actually legalised torture but it's better than the alternative. It feels nice to not have to be in that chair all the time. Though Liz is constantly yelling at me because she thinks I'll overdo it.

Me? Overdo something? I have no idea what she's talking about!

I hope everyone is doing well.

But... but I don't want you to be shunned alone... but I don't know what a muumuu is...

I thought it was the sound that a cow made... *blinks* You know, this is earily familiar to a conversation I had with Deirdre yesterday....

You were talking to Deirdre about muumuus, or about the sounds that cows make?

Maybe that's something I don't want to know?

Don't worry, I have a feeling even if I wanted to be shunned, there are several people who wouldn't let me. But I don't want to. And not just because of the potato sack.

I think the potato sack could be shunned by itself. Along with the muumuu, you know, so they didn't get lonely. And then we can join with the actual people and not be shunned.

Sounds like a good idea to me! Sound like a good idea to you? Cause I think you are right, you aren't allowed to be shunned.

That does sound like a good idea to me. We shall shun the muumuu and the potato sack and we can throw in monk's robes while we're at it. They can have a shunned clothes party somewhere that is else.

Good to know I'm wanted, Dear.

Oooh, we could have a bonfire with all those things! Do you think the smoke from them would be very bad, Peter?

Of course you're wanted! How can you be around your beautiful girlfriend and around Deirdre and think otherwise, hmm? Not to mention, well, everyone else at Victoria Lane who idolises you.... ooh, I'm about to make you start blushing now, aren't I? Should I stop?

Date: 2006-09-19 12:43 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] father-peter.livejournal.com
I think the smoke from them would smell like sweet revenge! But maybe that's just me...

You are very right. When I am around them, I never have to doubt that I am not wanted. It's only when I am forcibly separated from the people I love that it seems to be an issue. But it always works itself out in the end.

Making me blush is very easy, as you no doubt know. But yes, you did indeed achieve it again. I am not used to being idolised, but I feel very honoured. I feel more honoured that all of you like to be around me and let me in to your lives, however. The idolising goes both ways.

And no, you don't have to stop. You've made me smile quite a lot tonight. Thank you, Kait.

Yay blushing!!! Heh, I mean, I shouldn't do that. I blush easily. I'm sorry for making you blush, Peter!!!!

But I'm glad I made you smile. I just thought you might like to know: you made me smile a lot tonight too.

Date: 2006-09-19 12:47 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] father-peter.livejournal.com
You don't have to apologise for that. Blushing is good for the soul! Or so my sister tells me, though that might be because she likes to torment me.

I am glad to know that. You have a beautiful smile and you deserve to be happy.

You know, if blushing is good for your soul, and sisters believe that, I'm definitely glad I'm an only child. Renee and Deirdre make me blush enough to catch me up on the entire rest of my life.

And thank you, Peter!! You deserve to be happy as well. You are happy right now, aren't you?

Date: 2006-09-19 12:51 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] father-peter.livejournal.com
I really really believe that's the truth. They are quite good at doing it to me too.

I am happy. Very much so. Thank you for asking, Sweetheart.

Maybe it's a Renee and Deirdre thing. Oooh! We could get them back, and make them blush... somehow...

Date: 2006-09-19 12:54 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] father-peter.livejournal.com
I think it might be harder for us to think of a way.

I could just wear a muumuu....

Date: 2006-09-19 12:55 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] juniper-berries.livejournal.com
Flaming muumuu? Nooo, Peter, don't do it!!!

Date: 2006-09-19 12:56 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] juniper-berries.livejournal.com
Oh my god, Peter, that's horrible!! You can't wear that!!

Date: 2006-09-19 01:00 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] father-peter.livejournal.com
Now you see why the muumuu has to die.

Here's another one

That one is by far, a superior colour.

I don't want to look... Do I have to look?

Date: 2006-09-19 01:03 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] father-peter.livejournal.com
No, I think I've sufficiently scared you.

Date: 2006-09-19 01:28 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] juniper-berries.livejournal.com
Definitely. I will never question your muumuu again...

... Did that sound significantly more wrong than I meant that to you?

Date: 2006-09-19 01:32 pm (UTC)From: [identity profile] father-peter.livejournal.com
Only after you pointed it out.
