Just checking in to let everyone know that I had an appointment today and my right leg is pretty well healed. Apparently kneecaps and ankles heal faster than...upper leg bones I don't know the name of because I am not a doctor. The left leg will still need to be in plaster for a few more weeks, but this means I can get around on crutches for a little while at a time. Of course it also means I have to start physical therapy, which I believe is actually legalised torture but it's better than the alternative. It feels nice to not have to be in that chair all the time. Though Liz is constantly yelling at me because she thinks I'll overdo it.

Me? Overdo something? I have no idea what she's talking about!

*laughs* I finally have replied to one of your posts. I'm pretty proud of myself. This is also the first time you haven't had a daunting more-than-50 replies to one of your posts. Does this mean you are getting unpopular? Or more likely, the novelty has worn off?

I think it's more likely that people are preoccupied with things or that they're away from their computers.

I hope! I don't know, do people usually reply very quickly? Does this mean I am no longer novel!? I like to be novel. I'll have to work some jokes in and be more interesting!

I'm too honest to hide away in a box. Everyone can know I'm sad. It should be public knowledge and I'll be shunned and be forced to wear a potato sack. It's not much different than monk's robes anyway, I could handle it.

Being not good at jokes together sounds like a good idea. At least potato sack me will have a friend.

Don't worry, I have a feeling even if I wanted to be shunned, there are several people who wouldn't let me. But I don't want to. And not just because of the potato sack.

I think the potato sack could be shunned by itself. Along with the muumuu, you know, so they didn't get lonely. And then we can join with the actual people and not be shunned.

That does sound like a good idea to me. We shall shun the muumuu and the potato sack and we can throw in monk's robes while we're at it. They can have a shunned clothes party somewhere that is else.

You are very right. When I am around them, I never have to doubt that I am not wanted. It's only when I am forcibly separated from the people I love that it seems to be an issue. But it always works itself out in the end.

Making me blush is very easy, as you no doubt know. But yes, you did indeed achieve it again. I am not used to being idolised, but I feel very honoured. I feel more honoured that all of you like to be around me and let me in to your lives, however. The idolising goes both ways.
